Why Support The YOUTH TRAVEL INITIATIVE?
I envision a service that empowers youth programs and high schools to integrate travel into their missions, ensuring all youth can access enriching experiences, regardless of financial background.
Through my experiences, I have witnessed firsthand how travel can support educational, cultural, and community-building missions. Unfortunately, many youth programs in nonprofit organizations and high schools, particularly in low-income neighborhoods and minority communities, face budget constraints that significantly limit their ability to provide essential travel opportunities. This financial restraint can discourage or even prevent youth from fully leveraging their talents and intelligence to better their futures. Without the necessary funds to access travel opportunities, these young individuals miss out on valuable experiences that could enhance their personal and professional growth. This disparity has fueled my commitment to creating a solution that grants these organizations access to affordable travel options, ultimately enhancing their programs and expanding their reach.

meet The Founder
Lachel Faison
As a proud Black woman entrepreneur, I bring over 13 years of experience in the airline industry, coupled with over a decade of owning my own travel concierge agency. My journey has been fueled by my passion for travel, which has taken me to over 45 countries. Through these adventures, I’ve gained invaluable insights into diverse cultures and travel practices.
In addition to managing my travel business, I have dedicated myself to mentoring aspiring travel entrepreneurs and influencers who share my love for exploration. Balancing this professional pursuit while raising two teenage children who are also student-athletes has taught me the importance of resilience, adaptability, and the profound impact travel can have on personal growth and development.
My experiences have led me to collaborate with various youth programs, businesses, and organizations that focus on youth development. By providing tailored travel solutions for nonprofits and high schools, I have developed a unique understanding of how travel can enhance learning and broaden horizons for young individuals.
At The Youth Travel Initiative, I aim to empower the next generation of travel enthusiasts and entrepreneurs by sharing my expertise and passion. Together, we can embark on a journey to explore the world, nurture creativity, and cultivate new opportunities through travel.
